Azmyth on Foot Is Now Available on Android

For teams collecting field data across power and telecom infrastructure, flexibility in the field matters. Today, we’re announcing a major step forward:

Azmyth on Foot is now available on Android devices.

Why This Matters

Until now, Azmyth on Foot has primarily been used on iOS devices. With Android support, field teams have more flexibility to deploy across their existing hardware.

This update removes a key barrier for:

  • Utilities standardizing across mixed device environments

  • Contractors and OSP firms using Android-based field kits

Simply put, you can now run Azmyth on Foot on the devices your crews already use.

What Azmyth on Foot Does

Azmyth on Foot allows field teams to capture highly accurate, measurable imagery tied to precise GPS coordinates. That data can then be processed and analyzed inside our desktop platform Azmyth, eliminating the need for repeated site visits.

With Azmyth on Foot, you can:

  • Capture pole data, attachments, and midspans

  • Collect underground and OSP infrastructure data

  • Record imagery that can be measured later from your desktop

  • Integrate RTK corrections for high-accuracy positioning

In Azmyth, users can:

  • Pinpoint objects like power poles and underground infrastructure

  • Measure heights of objects and distances between them

  • Generate GIS-ready overlay outputs (KML, CSV, shapefiles)

The goal is simple: capture reality once, measure it forever.

No Change to Your Workflow

If you’re already using Azmyth on Foot, nothing changes except your device options.

Your workflow remains:

  1. Collect imagery and GPS data in the field

  2. Upload your data

  3. Process and analyze inside Azmyth

Whether your team is using iOS, Android, or both, the output stays consistent and standardized.

Get Started on Android
